Not much, but some

Hey-yo!
This coronavirus is so crazy! Over here in Washington we have to be home quarantined, which is pretty much normal for me, sense  I’m homeschooled and all. But it still gets tiresome.
Last Saturday we got a puppy!!! He’s half saint Barnard, 1/4 coon hound, and  1/4 chocolate lab. We named him Thorn. And if any of y’all have read the BrotherBand books by John Flanagan you‘d love the name even more! he loves so play tug-of-war and sleep.  He’s a pretty low maintenance puppy.
I haven’t been able to work with my horses that much because they are at my friends house which is super hard.
A Robin (the bird) hit one of our windows and was super dazed for at least a half hour, I got to hold it and pet it. I also took some pictures.

What do you guys do to keep entertained during this crazy time??
I took some pictures and I was gonna add them on here but my WiFi is super slow. Hopefully I’ll be able to post them soon.

It’s January!!!

Hello everyone!
Is anyone else ready for summer? Just skip spring because that brings even more rain and just go straight for summer.
Right now at camp we are having a lot of rentals and camp season is just about to start. We are trying to get everything ready but there is just so much that needs to be done 😅. The theme for this year is focus 20/20! Isn’t that exciting? The camp director (my best friends Dad) loves to make jokes and puns like that, so this was his year. We lowered the ceiling in the chapel because it was starting to rot and Leak, so I helped redo the drywall with my parents. Let me just say, drywall is not fun.

I’ve been riding my moms horse a lot lately, he has “thrown” me twice so far, the first time was because he was being a pain, and the second time was because he was spooked, like really spooked. Don’t worry, I’m not a bad rider, he’s just spooks in really big ways. But, he has gotten better. He’s super sweet. 😁.

I’m having a sweet sixteen birthday party next month and I’ve never been to one so I really don’t know what we should do or plan. Any ideas???

“But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.”

JW, My Moms horse, hopefully his new name will be “Buck”

Christmas and New Years!

Hey y’all,
How was your Christmas?
We didn’t get any snow which was really sad 😢, instead we got rain.
On Christmas Eve my family and I went to my Dads brothers house and ate food and hung out.
What are your Christmas traditions?

Blogging and me?

Hey guys, I’m sure you have all noticed that I’m really bad at posting regularly on here. I am sorry, it’s just hard when I’m not good at typing nice long posts and finding things to post about. Also, I’m not one to stay motivated for very long. But, I now am going to post at least once a month, and if I’m not posting often, PLEASE TELL ME!! I will try to post twice a month, but for sure at least once a month.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner!! This is probably my favorite holiday. Something I’m thankful for is my bed and the warmth of the camper I currently live in. Thanksgiving is not just a time to eat food and be thankful, it’s a time to share your blessings with others. And I’m not saying you have to volunteer at a homeless shelter or a nursing home ( although those are good thing to do), I’m saying that even the small things like helping your siblings with their school, or spending time with your mom or dad could be just as big as a blessing to someone else as the big things. Thanksgiving is a time to share and be thankful. The pilgrims were thankful towards the Indians who saved them from starving by showing them how to grow food and how to hunt and stay warm by building houses. They are the reason we have thanksgiving, because someone showed kindness and love towards them when they needed help, we ought to do the same as the Indians.
What is something someone did for you that meant a lot to you? Could you do the same for them?

Camp life.
Living at a camp is not what I expected it to be like. I thought much more would be happening and people would always be doing stuff. But it’s not really like that. It’s more like every once in a while there will be a rental for the weekend, and so you’ll be busy cleaning the bathrooms or cooking their food. Then once the weekend is over the camp seems empty. And on top of that, I’m homeschooled which means I’m not around people as often. WHICH IM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT! I’m simply saying that camp life is not as crazy as everyone thinks. It’s kind of relaxing. And sense my best friend is the directors daughter I get to see her all the time. Plus, we have three interns currently, which is really cool. So, life at camp is still pretty awesome, even though it’s not as busy as I thought. That is until camp season is here, then it’ll be so busy getting ready for an epic summer of fun!

I have finished drivers Ed, and I have my permit! I love driving!
