Hey guys, I’m sure you have all noticed that I’m really bad at posting regularly on here. I am sorry, it’s just hard when I’m not good at typing nice long posts and finding things to post about. Also, I’m not one to stay motivated for very long. But, I now am going to post at least once a month, and if I’m not posting often, PLEASE TELL ME!! I will try to post twice a month, but for sure at least once a month.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner!! This is probably my favorite holiday. Something I’m thankful for is my bed and the warmth of the camper I currently live in. Thanksgiving is not just a time to eat food and be thankful, it’s a time to share your blessings with others. And I’m not saying you have to volunteer at a homeless shelter or a nursing home ( although those are good thing to do), I’m saying that even the small things like helping your siblings with their school, or spending time with your mom or dad could be just as big as a blessing to someone else as the big things. Thanksgiving is a time to share and be thankful. The pilgrims were thankful towards the Indians who saved them from starving by showing them how to grow food and how to hunt and stay warm by building houses. They are the reason we have thanksgiving, because someone showed kindness and love towards them when they needed help, we ought to do the same as the Indians.
What is something someone did for you that meant a lot to you? Could you do the same for them?
Camp life.
Living at a camp is not what I expected it to be like. I thought much more would be happening and people would always be doing stuff. But it’s not really like that. It’s more like every once in a while there will be a rental for the weekend, and so you’ll be busy cleaning the bathrooms or cooking their food. Then once the weekend is over the camp seems empty. And on top of that, I’m homeschooled which means I’m not around people as often. WHICH IM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT! I’m simply saying that camp life is not as crazy as everyone thinks. It’s kind of relaxing. And sense my best friend is the directors daughter I get to see her all the time. Plus, we have three interns currently, which is really cool. So, life at camp is still pretty awesome, even though it’s not as busy as I thought. That is until camp season is here, then it’ll be so busy getting ready for an epic summer of fun!
I have finished drivers Ed, and I have my permit! I love driving!
Driving sounds fun. Hope you post more often.
