What's Up!

HEY!!!

Okay, my post for the week!
I will try and post pictures this Saturday, but I'm going to a birthday party.
I'm going to be changing the name of my blog! I'm super excited about it.
I think it's kinda long right now, so it will be something shorter.

Here's my question for you!
What would you do if  you had to move from everything you knew, to your Great Aunt and Uncles, and they had no running water, pluming, power, WiFi, internet, or cars, because your house burned down and your parents couldn't afford to feed and clothe you?

CAR OF THE DAY!

The Ford Focus!
Most people don't like Fords, and I am one of them. but I promise that I will not be biased, and just give the facts. After the facts I might give my opinion though. I'm totally open for discussion in the comments!
The Ford Focus was produced in 1998, so it's not to old. There are four different generations: The first generation was from 1998-2004, second 2004-2011, third 2011-2018, and the fourth generation 2018-present. This car was  the replacement for the Ford Escort. there are different styles of the Focus, so as: the hatchback, saloon/sedan, wagon, estate, and the coupe.

THE FIRST GENERATION---
"Ford of North America began marketing the Focus in September 1999 for the 2000 model year, with some changes from the European version. The car was launched as a three-door hatchback, four-door saloon, and five-door wagon; a five-door hatchback debuted in 2001."-Wikipedia.
The first generation looks like this:

THE SECOND GENERATION---
"The Focus Mk 2 is larger and considerably heavier than its predecessor: it has a 25 mm (0.98 in) increase in wheelbase, and is 168 mm (6.6 in) longer, 8 mm (0.31 in) taller, and 138 mm (5.4 in) wider. As a result, the interior and boot space have increased. New technologies include a KeyFree system, a solar-reflect windshield, adaptive front lighting, Bluetooth hands-free phones and voice control for audio, telephone, and climate control systems. Since debuting at the 2007 North American International Auto Show, the restyled 2008–2011 generation was available as a two-door coupe and four-door saloon; the hatchbacks and wagon were discontinued. The interior was redesigned, including new seats, a new dashboard design with message center on top of the dashboard, ambient lighting, dashboard panels that simulate brushed aluminum, and Ford's voice-controlled Sync audio/Bluetooth system. Also included in the redesign was a support beam behind the dashboard for extra structural rigidity." -Wikipedia.
The second generation looks like this:

THIRD GENERATION---
Ford previewed the third generation facelifted model at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.[15] The updated version features a new redesigned front end design, incorporating Ford's new family grille and slimline headlights. The sporty ST and an RS model (now sold globally)—which features an upgraded version of the 2.3-litre engine from the Ford Mustang—will continue Ford's performance range. The RS now has all-wheel drive."-Wikipedia

THE FOURTH GENERTAION---
"On April 10, 2018, Ford unveiled the European and Asian-market versions of the fourth-generation Focus, to mark the brand's 20th anniversary. As in the previous generation, the model is available with sedan, hatchback and estate bodystyles.
The exterior features a sportier design, while Ford described its interior as being simpler. The company also emphasized technology featured in the new model, including the Sync 3 infotainment system, FordPass Connect, and the CoPilot360 driver assistance suite."-Wikipedia

Any suggestions for next weeks car/truck?

Faith????????

FAITH

Faith. What does that mean? How can we find the meaning? Is it important? Where did the word come from? Let's talk about it.

Let's start with "what is faith?"
Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is the substance for things hoped for, the evidence not seen."
(KNJV) This verse tells us exactly what faith is. here's some other definitions: Faith- Noun. confidence or trust in a person or thing , belief that is not based on proof.

When you believe in something unseen, you have faith in it. I'm not talking about faith that
the football team will win the next game, or that your friend will make it to your birthday party, I'm talking about trusting in something (God) that has higher power than us.

let's move on to the next question, "Is it important?"
Yes, faith is important! I don't think much would be done if we didn't have faith.
There would probably be no religion, of any kind of without faith. I man even atheism, atheists, they have faith in what? I guess the brief version is in the universe or the earth and surrounding areas.
Christianity, we have faith in God. Catholicism, they have faith in their priest, God, Mary and the Saints. and the list goes on. But my point is, is that we need faith and it's important, to God and people.
The word faith is mentioned 378 times in the NASB Bible, 458 times in the NKJV, and 521 in the GNB. let's just say God really thinks it's important!

Next question, "Where did the word come from?"
The word "faith" came from the Anglo-French and Old French, feid, foi, from the Latin fides, "Trust, faith, confidence, reliance, and  belief," from the root of fidere "to trust".
Even by seeing where it came from we learn what it is. Anglo-French is spoken in Great Briton, and Ireland. Anglo, Specifically refers to England, not the United Kingdom as a whole.
But it is known to as both.

Last questions, "how can I get faith?" and "How do I live by faith?"
In order to get faith, you must believe that God is the saver of sinners, and trusting him with your life.
Romans 10:17 says, " So then Faith comes from hearing, ans hearing by the word of God. (NKJV).
Faith comes with believing. You can't have faith without hearing God's word, and believing it.
They go hand in hand, like peanut butter and jelly.
We live by faith through our actions. If we want to have strong faith we need to be closer
to God. We can do that by spending time with him, reading his word the Bible, praising him and praying. Trust God with your life, and let him have control over everything. That's  how we live by faith.

If you read these verses they will tell you about some people in the bible who lived by faith.
Romans 14:22,23  Galatians 3:5,9  Philemon 6  2 Timothy 1:5,13  Hebrews 11:30-40

These also talk about faith.
 Ephesians 4:4-6  Mark 11:22   Acts 16:5   Romans 5:1  Romans 10:17

Concrete anybody?

I had this post ready a few weeks ago, but the pictures weren't working and I forgot about it.
Have you have done concrete? Have you ever seen it being poured? Well I have. Since my dad is a contractor us kids get to go with him to work sometimes and help. April 29,  he was pouring concrete and it was only me, dad, mom and the owner. My brother would have been there but has just had surgery. Anyways I got to do most of it. All the different steps, and my dad never mentioned anything, which means I did it right . Here’s some pictures.

sorry for this weird setup, like I said the pictures weren't listening.

An update

Wow, It's been, What? about two weeks since I've posted? I'M SO SORRY GUYS!!!
I've been crazy busy, with so many small, random things.
And I've kinda lost motivation over the last week and a half. But I'm trying to find it again. That motivation.. always running away from me. 😂

I have something to tell y'all....
I will not be able to post that often anymore, because summer is coming.
For most of the summer I don't have access to wifi, because I'm at camp, either serving or as a camper. That will be for at least five weeks out of the summer of no posts from me.

But as for the time being, until that summer business kicks in, I will post once a week.
I'm gonna give you a clue for what I'm going to post about next week.....
It's something that I was asked to post about by a certain  young lady, who reads this blog.

And now for my other plans for this blog.
Give me your thoughts on each of the ideas.
Example: "On (1.) I think if you did this.... others would enjoy it more."
Does that makes sense?
Okay, here's the list.

1. Horse breed of the month.
2. A food post every other week, plus the once a week post.
3. photo Saturday.
4. A question from me to you, on the once a week post.
5. car facts, also on the once a week post.
